My violin. An exercise to explore depth of field.IMG_0378

An experiment inspired by art materials and photography. I had been mono-printing with foliage and I realised the image remaining on the acrylic plate could be used as a negative on Sunprint paper. Not very successful but I think it would work in stronger sunlight with foliage like ferns. I have mixed my own cyanotype chemicals and coated cartridge paper ready to try this again as part of my final assignment on this course. w_e_13_may (10 of 47)

An image exploring ideas for an assignment ‘languages of light’. I have heard the message of the bible described as ‘light’, and so the language of light I wanted to explore was biblical text. I was particularly interested in the way religious text is used as an excuse by some to continue to exclude women from many areas of life. week to 6_5 (21 of 39)

A set of images using plants and fruit to explore pornography. These were personal exploration but ended up being part of the initial work for an assignment.
